SCHOOL UNIFORMS

School spirit, pride in the school and a strong sense of belonging are encouraged by the wearing of the school uniform.

1. The uniform should always be neat and tidy.

2. Jewellery is not permitted other than a signet ring, watch, and one sleeper or plain stud earring in the lobe of each ear.

3. Make-up or nail polish is not to be worn.

. Hair is to be clean and tidy and a single natural colour. Ribbons and clips, if worn, must be maroon or made from the fabric of the school uniform.

5. Parents are asked to provide the correct footwear and to see that it is strong enough to last the whole year. Shoes should be black (boys and girls) leather uppers. There must be no coloured markings on the shoes. Sneakers are not permitted for every-day wearing.

6. Students are required to wear the school hat while outside during Terms 1 and 4. Students are allowed to play at recess or lunchtime only if their hats are worn. Hat styles are grey brim hats for primary boys, maroon brim hats for primary girls and black bucket hats for all secondary students. This “policy” has been introduced to combat the problems of skin cancer in later life.

Secondary Girls School tartan mid knee length skirt White blouse with Peter Pan collar and embroidered emblem. Black lace-up shoes and plain white ankle length / calf length socks

Secondary Boys Open neck blue shirt Grey school shorts or long grey trousers Grey school socks and black school shoes (Joggers are permitted but must be plain black)

Winter Uniforms:

Infants/Primary Girls White blouse with grey school tie. (White skivvy may be worn, no tie needed) Fawn stockings, white ankle length socks, black shoes Maroon school jumper with logo
